First Time Worship Visitor?

Worship is who we are, more than Sunday services. We gather each week to notice and give thanks for God in our lives. Between Sundays we care for each other, do work on behalf of and with the poor in our community and beyond.

The heart of our worship life is Sunday morning worship. We begin at 10, following 9 am education for children and adults.  Worship is family centered and  strengthened by contemporary music, choirs and the hymns of our tradition.

What You Can Expect

At 10 am

Worship begins with music and singing and moves to a time with the children - with child focused singing, sharing and conversation.  The children go to children's church following this time.

Worship continues in a variety of ways - prayer, music, message all related to linking the ancient story with the realities of daily living.  Sometimes there is conversation as the message, sometimes the sermon is meditative.  Always the link between faith and life is central.

Throughout the Year

Communion is offered at worship on the first Sunday of the month.  In the United Methodist tradition, participation in this sacred moment is open to all - church member or not.

The arrangement of the Sanctuary seating varies by season.

Special seasonal worship experiences are held during Christmas and Lent and at other times of the year.  These worship experiences may be held jointly with other churches in our valley.
